With over 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and brand development, Kristin Weissman is a multi-award-winning PR and Communications executive, as well as a freelance Publicist and Corporate Consultant. In addition, Kristin serves as the Founder and CEO of Studio K (www.studiokorlando.com), an award-winning entertainment studio featuring the largest offering of dance and fitness for adults.

 

Before leading these efforts, Kristin served as the Vice President of Public Relations for Climate First Bank, as well as represented the tech-firm, Attika Intelligence/Bullpen PR, also as the VP of PR. In addition, Kristin served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Windermere Preparatory School, in collaboration with global parent brand, Nord Anglia Education. Prior to this role, Kristin served as the Director of Public Relations for Full Sail University, an entertainment media university outside of Orlando, FL, directing both the university’s PR efforts as well as promoting the individual projects of high-ranking graduates, and serving events including: the GRAMMY® and Academy Awards®, WWE, ESPN, Sundance Film Festival, and high profile and celebrity projects in film, music, and video game development.

 

Prior to this position, Kristin served as the Director of Communications for Give Kids The World, a non-profit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses where she led efforts such as the Tournament of Roses Parade, and worked in public relations with partners including NASCAR, Wal-Mart, and Procter & Gamble.

 

However, before relocating to Orlando, Kristin originated her career in the casino industry working in both marketing and operations for Harrah’s Entertainment and the Trump Taj Mahal, and also served as the National Public Relations Director for the Miss America Organization in Atlantic City, NJ, helping to produce the nationally televised live broadcast.

 

Kristin is currently ranked in the top 1% of the nation for crisis communications, has received Congressional recognition for her work in Public Relations, and was most recently named among the “Women Who Move the City” for her work in PR and as a business owner by Orlando Magazine. In addition, Kristin was selected to serve as a voice within the Facebook Business Leaders Network; received the Golden Disc for Distinguished Achievement by her University - the top award honor for Alumni; and was awarded as a “Woman of the Year” by Orlando Magazine.

 

In addition to Kristin’s public relations and marketing career, she also owns the photography, TV and film cosmetics line, Kristin Noelle Cosmetics, and is a published author with two books on the market: Barbie: The Icon, The Image, The Ideal - An Analytical Interpretation of the Barbie Doll in Popular Culture, and served as a contributing writer to the book, A+ Marketing: Proven Tactics for Success.
